Dance and Movement for Everyone

Movement has always been my language as a movement artist. I explore dance through hula, blending abstract with tradition, utilizing ribbons, scarves, teddy bears, kids’ toys, home décor, and everyday objects — transforming the ordinary into something expressive and alive. My work isn’t about perfection; it’s about play, connection, and the beauty of motion in unexpected places. 

Through performances and community events, I invite audiences of all ages and abilities to see themselves in movement — to imagine, to feel, and maybe even to join in. For me, dance transcends choreography; it’s a way of building connection, creativity, and community.

I’ll be sharing a short, immersive I Just Might experience at Open Mic this Wednesday at the Tempe Center for the Arts. Open Mic starts at 5:45 pm, and I may go on anytime after that.

This piece blends a poem, simple audience participation, sign language, and movement set to Bruno Mars’ newest release. It’s a mid‑week moment of connection, creativity, and breath.
